Madi

Madi Harris, in the words of her mother, Barb Shifflet:

Madison (Madi) Harris is facing a battle against breast cancer at the young age of 30. After undergoing a lumpectomy and learning the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, Madi began a treatment plan in January 2025 that includes up to 12 chemotherapy sessions with radiation to follow. Despite these daunting challenges, Madi's spirit remains unbroken. She is determined to continue working and maintain normalcy for her 7-year-old daughter, demonstrating incredible strength and grace under pressure.

Madi's fight against cancer is a stark reminder of the unpredictability of life and the resilience of the human spirit. Her journey resonates deeply with the values of the soccer community—perseverance in the face of adversity, strength in unity, and the unwavering support of one another. Supporting Madi through the Kickin’ Cancer Soccer Tournament will provide her with much-needed financial assistance during this trying time and also reinforce the sense of community and solidarity that is so vital to our sport. Madi embodies the resilience and perseverance that define our soccer community. By choosing Madi as a recipient of this award, we have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in her life and her daughter's future, offering hope and support as she faces this challenging time.

Your support can significantly impact her journey, providing not just financial relief but also a sense of support and love from the community that is such an important part of her life.

We can’t wait to support Madi’s journey April 25-27 at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
